Dawn Quigg

Dawn Quigg

Dawn is a Illustrator and designer and is based in Corby, Northants, UK with her Husband and young Son. She has always loved drawing from a young age. One of her earliest memories was drawing from a ‘how to draw animals’ book her parents bought. That set off a fire in her soul for art and being creative.

She studied Illustration at Hereford university and went on to be a Surface Pattern Designer for the Tabletop Company then later working as an Illustrator and designer for Watermark Publishing/UK Greetings and loving being around so many creative like minded people.

Now Dawn has reinvented herself as a Freelance Illustrator and Designer with support of family and friends, building up contacts from Clintons Retail to DMD. She loves producing all kinds of artworks that will make you smile and is always trying new things to grow her knowledge of art, Illustration and design.

She has 16 years experience in the industry and has evolved too, with many styles and different medium. Dawn is very versatile, illustrating many different subject mater from cute, whimsical characters, landscapes, floral, figurative, animals, from modern to traditional and finds it all wonderful to illustrate.

She gets her inspiration in many places from everyday life, the outdoors/nature, internet, packaging, magazines, retail & children’s books which she has a huge collection of which also now comes in handy for reading to her Son. Dawn hopes to one day Illustrate children’s books along side her greeting card and ceramic work. It’s been a dream for a long time. When Dawn’s not Illustrating she loves to bake, garden with her Son and enjoy evenings out at the cinema with her Husband and loves to get crafting if she gets a little spare time.
