Clair is an illustrator based in Sutton, just outside of London. She graduated from Falmouth University in 2014 and has freelanced ever since, working on a range of licensing, children’s publishing and editorial projects.

Clients include KEW, Hello Magazine, Whistlefish, Paperchase and Harrods. She worked on Nadiya Hussain’s ‘Bake Me a Story’ range with Hachette, which was also released as a special edition World Book Day title in 2018.

Clair especially enjoys map-making, hand lettering and food illustration. She also loves experimenting with mixed media, often using gouache, ink and colouring pencils before collaging her work together digitally. Prone to making a mess, her desk is usually a precarious balancing act of paint pots and sketchbooks. When she isn’t drawing, Clair likes reading, eating cheese and spending time with friends and family
