Natalie Marshall

Natalie is a Melbourne-based, internationally published author and illustrator. With a background in design, Natalie has a creative mind with an eye for creating unique concepts in her beautiful textured illustration style. Natalie’s list of published books is extensive and her titles regularly feature on bestseller lists, have been Kirkus-starred and been translated into several languages. Natalie’s 2019 illustrated title with Scholastic UK ‘1, 2, 3 Bumblebee’, was recently selected by the Welsh Booktrust for inclusion in their selected reading packs distributed to children across Wales. Natalie’s titles have been published by Caterpillar, ARS Editions, Silver Dolphin, Simon & Schuster, Scholastic UK, Little Bee, Hardie Grant Egmont, Little Brown, Smartink Books, Helium and Langue Au Chat among others. Natalie is the illustrator of the best-selling ‘You’re My Little’ series of books published by Silver Dolphin. Natalie has also illustrated projects for Mudpuppy Galison, Djeco and Kidstuff Australia.

Natalie lives near the beach in Melbourne, Australia with her two children, her bike-loving scientist husband and an Australian Koolie named Obi-Wan who likes to run fast and bark loudly. She is a traveller at heart and spent years living and working in New York and London, has traveled on a motorbike around Europe and been swimming with whale sharks at Ningaloo Reef.
