Kaz is an illustrator and surface pattern designer with over 20 year experience, this has seen her design across a wide variety of products, from children’s apparel, home furnishings and gift-ware to paper products. She graduated with an honours degree in Illustration & Printmaking and one of her rst design jobs took very quickly into the world of designing fabrics for babies & young children. Kaz has always had a slight obsession with pattern and a huge love creating quirky fun animal characters, her versatility can be seen across her work and so can her love of designing for children and her inspiration from nature and her recent new love of Hand typography.

Originally brought up on the west coast of Scotland, she now lives in a pretty village in the south west of England with her husband, 3 kids and two very cute but pesky rescue kittens. When she is not designing, all of these mentioned keep her busy, but she loves reading, walking, and enjoys going to live music gigs, particularly watching her eldest son who is a musician.

Her work has been sold throughout the world, some of her previous clients include; Marks & Spencer’s, Paperchase, Creative Tops, Clintons and WHSmith.
